Dr. Susan Black is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Conference Board of Canada. She is a seasoned business executive who enables organizations to outperform by implementing best-in-class people practices.


Bryan Benjamin Bryan Benjamin
Vice-President

Bryan’s portfolio at the Conference Board of Canada includes the Knowledge Areas of Human Capital, Inclusion, Indigenous Peoples, Health, Health Care and Wellbeing, and Governance, Risk and Sustainability. In this role, he provides strategic direction and oversight and leads the diverse teams conducting all related research and convening activities. In addition, he provides leadership to the Conference Board’s central sales team and the Niagara Institute.



Michael Jones Michael Jones
Vice-President, Marketing

Michael Jones leads Marketing and Customer Experience at the Conference Board of Canada. With 20 years of progressively senior strategy, sales, marketing and transformation experience Michael’s portfolio at the Conference Board includes Marketing and e-Commerce, Analytics, Customer Corporate Communications, Content Strategy and IT.


Maureen Bernabo Maureen Bernabo
Director, Talent Management

Maureen Bernabo leads the Human Resources and Facilities team at The Conference Board of Canada. Maureen brings over 30 years of progressive leadership and practical experience to her role of Director, Talent Management and is a member of the Executive Team.

Pedro Antunes Pedro Antunes
Chief Economist

As the Board’s Chief Economist, Pedro Antunes is responsible for managing a team of economists in producing the Conference Board's medium and long-term economic forecasts along with other economic indicators and reports. Pedro is a spokesperson for the Conference Board and does presentations on the forecast to clients and the public and is often cited in the media.


Michael Burt Michael Burt
Executive Director

Michael Burt leads the teams that conduct research on industrial performance, trade and investment, and education and skills at The Conference Board of Canada. Mr. Burt joined the CBoC in 2004, he has moved progressively into more senior positions since joining the Board. Before joining the Board he worked with an economic consulting firm in the United States.
