An uncertain economy, a dynamic business environment, and accelerating pace of change require HR executives to stay on top of emerging issues and keep abreast of the latest tools for fostering a high-performance organization. HR executives need timely information, insights from thought leaders, advanced research, and access to like-minded, progressive peers.
The Council of Human Resources Executives is one of the longest standing and most successful networking and learning groups at the Conference Board. For 44 years, senior HR leaders have come together to explore the trends and issues they deem critical to future success.
The Council allows you, the HR leader, to meet and converse with your peers in an exclusive forum that is conducted in a confidential, off-the-record environment. High-level peer exchange promotes shared insights on strategic issues and challenges. Members learn from each other, from Conference Board professionals, and from external experts. Best practices that have significant implications for driving business performance emerge.
The Council has regionally based chapters in Eastern and Western Canada, and includes larger organizations with national and multinational operations. The council is composed of the most senior human resources executives of over 138 organizations. Meetings are held regionally for the eastern and western chapters, and these groups meet jointly once a year to promote and enhance networking and learning opportunities.
